Where did “SamTheJam” come from?
Me?
Even though I have always been an artist, selling my first drawing at age 5, the SamTheJam brand had started as an idea for a group podcast project in college.
Around this time, I had created my first acrylic painting based on the techniques of American artist and conservationist, Wyland. This was my first painting sold in a gallery space. From there on, I started incorporating the name SamTheJam Artist with all my creations.

What do I do?
As a multi-disciplinary artist, I take pleasure in learning new creative skills and take on many new projects. My current hobbies include acrylic painting, oil painting, watercolor painting, leather work, costume making, modular origami, sculpting and much more.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me and admiring my artwork. It took many years of patience and hard work to get here.
